PH Artistic Gymnasts Set Sights On SEAG Medal Finish

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Philippine gymnasts vie for the podium finish on the last day of artistic gymnastics competition of the 30th Southeast Asian Games here at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, this city.

Multi-medalist Carlos Edriel Yulo attempts to win medals in all apparatus as he is set to compete in the men’s artisitic gymnastics finals in vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bars. Fellow Filipino Reyland Capellan seeks his first medal of this year’s edition of the SEA Games also in the vault apparatus.

Menawhile, Mya Kalani Wilson and Ma. Cristina Onofre are hoping to nab that elusive medal in the women’s artistic event. Wilson will try to land a podium finish in the balance beam and floor exercise finals while Onofre is looking to land a top three spot also in the floor exercise.

The competition starts at 4:00 p.m. also here at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
